One of the key features of Pardot is the Form Handler, which allows businesses to collect and store information from website visitors through forms.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use Pardot Form Handlers.
Creating Form Handlers
Go to “Content > Form Handlers” in the Pardot main menu.
Click on “Add Form Handler” and then enter the required information for the form, including the name, form fields, and form redirect (where the visitor should be redirected after submitting its information).

Adding Fields to your Form Handlers
Decide what information you want to collect from your website visitors, such as their name, email address, company, and job title.
Then add these fields to the form by clicking on “Add Field” and entering the field name and type.
At minimum, you need to have the “email” field in your form handler.

Customize the Completion Actions
As on many assets in Pardot, you have the possibility to add Completion Actions to your form handler.
For example, you could decide to add all prospects going through your form handler to a specific list that you’ll use afterward with a List Email.
You can also assign all new prospects to a specific user, or send them a specific email… and many more.
Integrate with Your Website
Due to possible security issues, we recommend you to contact your website developers for the integration.
They can make sure the form handler endpoint is not hardcoded and visible in the page source code.
Track Form Submissions
To monitor your form handler submissions, go to “Content > Form Handlers” and click on your form handler name.
At the bottom of the page, you will be able to view all form submissions, including the date, time, and visitor information.
Pardot Form Handlers are a powerful tool for collecting and storing information from website visitors.
By following these steps, you can easily create and customize a form that integrates with your website and tracks form submissions.
